Arrive in Cape Town. I pick you up and take you to you accommodation for the night where you can leave your luggage, enjoy a lunch and just settle in. After we received your bike, it is up to you if you would like to go rest or take a short drive around Cape Town to just get a feel for everything. Maybe the V&A Waterfront? This bustling shopping, dining and entertainment area neighboring the Table Bay harbor is almost as synonymous with a visit to Cape Town, as the Table Mountain that looks upon it from up high. Developed from redundant dock lands, this vast property now blends seamlessly and attractively with the working harbor. At dinner we will discuss the smaller details, questions and concerns you have.

Today we explore a little of the wine route all the way to to the beautiful Gordon’s Bay. This route go though some of the most beautiful mountain and wine country in south Africa. From Knysna we travel inland and go through a radical landscape change, from the green lush Garden route to dry mountainous semi desert conditions. We travel over a town called Uniondale which is famous for “The ghost of Uniondale”. We travel to De De Rust and visit Meiringspoort. We the travel to Oudtshoorn to spend the night in 5 star luxury!!

From Oudshoorn we drive the famous Route 62 over a couple of passes towards Swellendam. We past the famous Ronnies Sex Shop and the travel over the beautiful Tradous pass. The Tradouw Pass (which means Womens Path in the old Khoi language) is a 17 kilometer drive through an altitude range of 219 meters through some of the most beautiful and rugged mountain scenery on offer in the Langeberg.
